Born in Seoul, Korea, Dr. Kim and his family immigrated to Canada in his youth. After highschool, he studied Medical BioPhysics at Western University and was granted early acceptance to the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry at Western University. In 2012, he began his career at Tavistock Dental, and loved the town and patients, so in 2015, he purchased the practice.

As a member of the Ontario Royal College of Dental Surgeons, the Ontario Dental Association, the Canadian Dental Association. Dr. Kim enjoys furthering his education and training, keeping him on the cutting edge of Dentistry. He can provide a wide array of options for his patients, Endodontics, Orthodontics, Implants, Crown, Bridges, Dentures, and is RCDSO certified to administer moderate oral and IV sedation. Dr. Kim treats his patients like they are family, he takes a personalized approach to advice and treatment and understands the relation of oral health to their confidence and self esteem.

Merle grew up in the Rostock area and moved to Tavistock when she married. She now resides outside of Tavistock with her husband, son and twin daughters. She attended Fanshawe College where she completed the dental assisting and dental hygiene programs.

Merle is a self initiated Registered Dental Hygienist with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario and an active member of the Ontario Dental Hygienists Association. Merle has 32 years of experience as a dental hygienist and has worked at Tavistock Dental for over 27 years. She is a valuable team member who loves working with all age groups. It is Merle’s goal to make all her patients feel comfortable and informed.

Missy was raised outside of Tavistock, attending Hickson Public School and graduating from high school at Woodstock Collegiate Institute. After high school Missy enrolled at Fanshawe College where she received a certificate in pre-health sciences. From there she took dental assisting at Medix College and worked as a chairside dental assistant for 1 year. Her thirst for knowledge didn’t stop there. She then enrolled in the dental hygiene program at Georgian College and graduated with an advanced diploma in dental hygiene. Missy is registered with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario and is a member of the Ontario Dental Hygienists Association.

Missy married her husband, Matt in 2017. They have recently started a family, and welcomed a little boy, Ryker, big fursister bandit is still not too sure about him!

Kelli was born and raised in the Tavistock area where she currently resides. She pursued her studies in dental assisting and dental hygiene at Fanshawe College in London, Ontario. Kelli graduated on the dean’s honor role and received the Sunstar Preventive Dental Hygiene award for highest clinical proficiency in year two. Kelli is an active member with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario, as well as the Canadian Dental Hygienists Association. Kelli has always had an interest in the dental field and loves working with people of all ages. Her caring personality made her career choice as a Registered Dental Hygienist a perfect fit.

In her spare time Kelli enjoys playing baseball, step-dancing and snowboarding. She loves being an aunt to her three nieces and a dog mom to her little pup Lucy. She loves to travel and see new places. Kelli is extremely happy to be given the opportunity to provide care in her home town of Tavistock!

Natasha grew up in Elliott Lake. She left home to pursue Dental Assisting at Cambrian College, and graduated as a Level 2 Dental Assistant. Natasha makes her home here in Tavistock with her two boys and her partner. She works daily with Dr. Kim, and enjoys seeing all of the smiling faces that come through the office.
